At St Mary’s, we are committed to providing a high-quality education that enables every child to achieve their full potential. Statutory assessments are an important part of this journey, helping us to measure progress, identify strengths, and ensure that our pupils are well-prepared for the next stage of their education.
We share our performance data openly to celebrate success and maintain transparency with our families and community. These key assessments include:
- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) – Good Level of Development (GLD): This measures how well children have achieved across the prime and specific areas of learning by the end of Reception.
- Year 1 Phonics Screening Check: Assesses children’s ability to decode words using phonics, a vital skill for early reading.
- End of Key Stage 2 SATs: National tests in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics that show how pupils have progressed by the end of Year 6.
Our results reflect the hard work of our pupils and staff, and we use this information to continually refine our teaching and learning. You can view our latest performance data below.
