Local schools have been taking part in their own Olympic Torch relay. Each school have made an Olympic torch which is then passed on to the next school in the chain. Today at St Mary's we received a torch from the pupils at Selsted Primary school and on Friday we will pass on the torch we have made to Castle Hill primary school. The children from Selsted primary passed the torch to the St Mary's children in assembly and the torch was passed around the hall. It was then placed with other torches in our Olympic display. |
